Privacy and consent

In short: this page collects only your email address and, if you choose it, the number of children, so we can tell you when the beta opens.

Who we are

Odlikaš is built by Karlo Ciciliani and Antonio Kocijan, students at the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences (TVZ). Contact: info@odlikas.hr.

What we collect

Your email address, the number of children (only if you choose it), the page language, which part of the page you signed up from, the campaign source (UTM) and the time. Nothing else: no name, no school, no password.

Why

To send one confirmation email, the beta invite on 1 January 2027 and, at most, occasional launch news. We use the number of children only to see how many families with several children are waiting for the beta. We never sell or share your data.

Legal basis and under-16s

Your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), confirmed by clicking the link in our email. For anyone under 16, consent must be given or authorised by a parent or guardian (Art. 19 of the Croatian GDPR Implementation Act), so we ask high school students under 16 to have a parent sign up with their email.

Where the data is stored

In a Google Sheet and Google Apps Script. Google acts as a processor, and data may be processed outside the EU under Google's standard contractual clauses. Visits are counted without cookies or personal data.

How long

Until you unsubscribe, and at the latest until 1 July 2027, when the list is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data and withdraw consent at any time, via the link in every email or by writing to info@odlikas.hr. You can also complain to the Croatian data protection authority (AZOP).

Cookies

This site sets no cookies.

The app and e-Dnevnik details

This page never asks for a password. In the app, the parent has their own account and connects grades with the child's AAI@EduHr account, which we use only to read grades and the timetable. Children's data is stored in the EU and never sold. We never see messages or what the child searches for.
