Odlikaš blocks games, TikTok and YouTube on your child's phone once the free time you agreed on is used up. They earn more by studying: a quiz, a timed study session or homework. Grades come from e‑Dnevnik.
Free. The beta opens on 1 Jan 2027 on Android, with iOS soon after. Waitlist families get Odlikaš+ free until 28 Feb 2027, then €49 a year instead of €59.
Odlikaš runs on your child's phone. You tick the apps to limit, and Odlikaš suggests them by type: games, video and social media. While your child still has free time, everything works as usual. Once it is used up and they open TikTok, they see Odlikaš instead, with how many tasks stand between them and more time.

How do they get more time?
By studying, not by begging.
You set up to four tasks a day: a timed study session, a short quiz on schoolwork, or a photo of finished homework that AI checks and explains. Once they are all done, the blocked apps open for another 60 minutes.

Won't my child push back?
The rules are an agreement, not a punishment.
Before any blocking starts, your child sees the agreement and accepts it or suggests a change. Every day they have free time that is theirs alone, with no tasks, and what they don’t use is saved for the weekend. When they need more, they ask you from the app, and you approve or decline with one tap.

What happens after a bad grade?
Practice arrives on its own.
As soon as a new grade lands in e‑Dnevnik, you see it on your home screen. After a 1 or a 2, Odlikaš makes 5 practice cards on that topic and adds them to your child’s tasks, based on the strictness level you chose.
You choose the strictness level and can change it any time

What do I see?
Studying and screen time. Not messages.
Grades, finished tasks, study time, quiz accuracy and how long your child spent in each app. Neither you nor we see messages or what your child searches for.

It's not about willpower.
Phones are built so children never put them down. So Odlikaš doesn't wait for your child to decide to study; it puts studying before the games.

of Croatian children aged 10 to 16 tried to spend less time online and could not.
We built the first version of Odlikaš for students. Vid, a mentor at the BIRD Incubator, asked us: which child will pick up their phone to study when every game is right there? He was right, so we turned Odlikaš towards parents.

In high school?
In high school, you run Odlikaš yourself. Sign in with your own e‑Dnevnik account and see your average, your next test and the grade you need for a 5. Focus blocks Instagram and TikTok while you study, but only when you turn it on. Your parent sees only what you choose to share.
Under 16? A parent just confirms with one click in an email and gets no access to your grades. You get Odlikaš+ through your parent's family plan, or from 18 you can turn it on yourself.
Before you sign up
How much does it cost?
The basic version is free for one child: the agreement, app blocking, grades from e‑Dnevnik, timed study and 3 quizzes a week. Odlikaš+ is one family plan for up to 4 children: €59 a year (€4.92 a month) or €7.99 a month. It adds unlimited quizzes, an AI homework check that gives hints instead of answers, step-by-step explanations, smart cards after a bad grade and a detailed weekly report. For the first 14 days everything is unlocked, no card needed, and nothing is ever charged automatically. Waitlist families get Odlikaš+ free until 28 February 2027, and anyone who subscribes by 15 March 2027 pays €49 a year for as long as they stay. Joining the waitlist is free and commits you to nothing.
How do we set it up?
Create an account with your email, Google or Apple and add your child. Your child installs Odlikaš on their phone, scans the QR code from your app and turns on the Accessibility permission, which Odlikaš needs to block apps. You connect grades with your child's AAI@EduHr account.
When can we start?
The beta opens on 1 January 2027 on Android, with iOS soon after. Everyone on the waitlist gets a download link that day.
What do you do with my child's data?
You create your own account, and connect grades with your child's AAI@EduHr account (name.surname@skole.hr). We use it only to read grades and the timetable. Children's data is stored in the EU and never sold. We never see messages or what your child searches for. This page never asks for a password, only your email.
We already use Family Link. Do we need this?
Keep it. Odlikaš works on its own and doesn't need Family Link. Family Link limits time on the phone; Odlikaš makes sure extra time is earned by studying.
Can my child just turn Odlikaš off?
They can try, but you get a notification straight away. We don't promise Odlikaš can't be bypassed; we promise you'll always know.
Can my child call me once their time is up?
Yes. Calls, messages and maps are never blocked. Your child can also ask you for more time from inside Odlikaš.
What happens when my child starts high school?
Odlikaš sees the new class in e‑Dnevnik and suggests you hand control over to your child. Blocking then switches off, your child uses focus when they study and chooses what to share with you. Your family Odlikaš+ still applies.
Does it work for our school?
Yes, if your school uses e‑Dnevnik, which almost every primary and secondary school in Croatia does.
